Lord Jesus, no human ever loved his enemies as perfectly as you did. Thank you that while we were still hostile to you, you loved us.

King David meditated on God’s character: “The LORD is good to all,” he exclaimed. “His mercy is over all that he has made” (Psalm 145:9 ESV). How can Christians show the world that kind of mercy?
