Don't Forget
This passage is referring to the Israelites in the wilderness. God had parted the Red Sea and delivered them from the Egyptians miraculously. But the parents neglected to instill in their children how great God had been to them and the next generation ends up completely forgetting God and His incredible works. Let it not be said of us that we did a poor job of teaching our children about God, His works in the stories of the Bible, but also His works in our lives thus far. Teaching them about what God has done for your family will give them an anchor in troubling times that are sure to come.
