How to Find Out God’s Dream for You

I can’t tell you how many people I’ve met who’ve been so disappointed because the dreams they were working toward didn’t pan out for them. But oftentimes, if they honestly dissected those dreams, I think they may realize that God was actually protecting them through that process!

It may be hard to discard a dream, especially if you’ve been carrying it for a long time. But it is better to discover early on that the dream is not in God’s will for you, than to spend your whole life chasing an elusive dream, only to discover it’s empty after you’ve achieved it.

The greatest life you can ever live is one within the perfect will of God for you. His ways and His thoughts are infinitely higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9). His best for us is beyond whatever we can dream or imagine, and not only will it bless you, it will ultimately empower you to be a blessing to others as well.

Keep believing that your God-given dream is somewhere out there, and God is leading you toward it. Open your heart to the dreams God has for you and seek His face. When you do, you’ll live a much more blessed life!

Pray and ask God to show you where your dreams don’t align with His. Ask Him to give you the resolve to bring your aspirations in-line with His plans for your life.
