Disconnect - Unplug From the Noiseنموونە

Clothe yourselves
Would you rather work in a uniform or wear whatever you’d like to work? Most school children don’t like to wear a uniform because they wear it every day and would rather love to have a choice of what to wear daily. Interestingly it’s as if Colossians 3:12-14 gives us a list of the trendiest ‘clothes’—clothes that never go out of fashion. They are compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience and forgiveness. They are perfect for all occasions and easily become the trend and envy of every person around.
Make the decision when you wake up and are getting ready in the morning to put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience and forgiveness. With the help of the Holy Spirit, wear them throughout your day and don’t take them off. Let them become familiar and your “go-to” outfits for all occasions.

Have you ever had a poor signal on your phone, when you can’t hear what the other person is saying? This happens because of the noise around you or because of where you are positioned. To hear God we sometimes need to disconnect from the noise around us. Over the next 10 days we will use Colossians 3 to disconnect from busyness, mute the noise and connect to God.
