Day 11 – The Chain of Grace
Reflect
Imagine hearing Peter preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. What would it have been like to listen to the good news from a person who literally witnessed every event that he mentioned? Peter brought a first-hand account to this room full of people - the first Gentiles to believe. God ensured that there be a direct link from the Jewish believers to the Gentiles. The Gentiles were not an afterthought. Salvation for the whole world was always in the heart of God.
Respond
Lord, thank you that the good news of Jesus Christ has reached me. Thank you that I am a link in the chain of grace that goes all the way back to the book of Acts. May my life be a continuation of your grace as I share your gift of salvation with others.
