Welcome to “Jesus In All Of Exodus.”

The history recorded in Exodus gets repeated throughout the rest of the Bible. If you get this book in your heart, so much of the rest of the Bible comes alive.

In Exodus, we meet Moses, experience Passover, see manna from heaven, hear the 10 commandments, and witness the construction of the tabernacle. But, most amazingly, all of these images and stories are ways for us to understand and treasure what God has done for us through Jesus. 

At Spoken Gospel, we believe that you can encounter Jesus on every page of Scripture - yes, even the Old Testament. 

It is our hope that, over the next 21 days, you will see the story of Exodus like you have never seen it before. 

Throughout your journey, you will read a total of 40 chapters, taking you all the way through the book of Exodus.

Along your journey, you will read 14 devotionals. These short devotionals (they only take about 3-4 minutes to read) will seek to do three things for you, designated by three headings. 

1. What’s Happening? 

This section explains what is going on in the text. 

2. Where is Jesus? 

This section shows how this story ultimately points to Jesus and His Gospel. 

3. See For Yourself

This is a short, Trinitarian prayer meant to propel you into Scripture to see the good news of Jesus for yourself. 

Today you will watch an introduction we at Spoken Gospel have made to the book of Exodus. Then you’ll read Exodus chapter 1. 

Tomorrow you will read Exodus chapter 2 along with your first devotional.
