When we Christians get out our Bibles, we have a tendency, especially when it comes to something as important and sacred as sex, to look for deep spiritual truths. But as you’ll see from today’s reading, sometimes the poetry of the Bible can hold deep spiritual truths while simultaneously having a plain reading. 

And today’s reading spells it out clearly: sex is fun!

Yes, sex does amazing things for your marriage; it binds you closer to one another in unique intimacy; it mysteriously turns the two of you into a whole; it creates children. It does all that. 

But it’s also a blast.
