What are you proud of? Perhaps it’s something you’ve accomplished, a possession you own, or even someone you’ve raised. Maybe just thinking about one of them makes you smile or your heart swell. Now imagine that someone feels the same way about you. It might seem hard to believe, but God is completely proud of who you are, right now, at this very moment. He created you and adores you. In fact, one translation of Ephesians 2:10 calls us God’s “masterpiece.” We are His prized possession. By spending time with God, you’ll begin to understand His affection for you. You’ll catch glimpses of truth about who He is and who He says you really are. God is not disappointed or angry with you – He is proud. He created you on purpose for a purpose!
