Faith at ‘All Times’

Matthew 17:20 NIV. 

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

A grain of a mustard seed is not a great thing, even insignificant, but there’s life in that seed when it’s planted. This little faith accomplishes great wonders.

Here’s what we learn:

1. Jesus never meant this to be taken physically or literally.

2. Never give any room for doubt and unbelief.

3. Ask God to give you the power - the gift of faith.

4. If you want to be successful in any work for God, have faith.

5. The tiniest faith in God moves mountains! 

What does faith do?

1. It pleases God.

2. It makes you strong in your weakness.

3. It rescues you, even from the mouth of a lion.

4. It helps you obtain the promises of the Lord. 

Take away:

It is not how much we need but what kind of faith we need!

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, give me the gift of faith. Help me to trust You more than ever before, at all times. In Jesus' name, Amen.
