Day 11 - His sheep know His voice!

One of the greatest things I shared with her is - when we accept Jesus Christ into our lives, He promises God will give us an advocate, the Spirit of Truth. This gift is the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ tells us that He will dwell within us (John 14:16-17). The Holy Spirit is powerful. He will tell us which direction to go. 

I told her it was my secret weapon to making better decisions. Years ago, I started asking the Holy Spirit to show me how to do this, and what I should do. I can recall seeking God's help concerning a significant matter. When I requested the power of the Holy Spirit, the persons involved praised the results of the situation. Now, I make an effort to incorporate this into my life daily by asking the Holy Spirit how to handle certain matters - no matter how big or small.
