You Are Enough: 3 Day Devotionalنموونە

DAY 3: TIME TO PARTY
YOU ARE ENOUGH! God doesn’t rescue you because you beg for His help. He doesn’t protect you because you are perfect in all you do. He doesn’t answer your prayers because you prayed for hours. No, it’s because you love Him, it’s because you hold onto Him for dear life, it’s because you call out for His help and you know Him and you trust Him. These are the qualities that God loves.
Some people feel like these blessings only happen when we are the best Christian we can be; attending church every week, reading the Bible daily, not swearing, dressing the right way – oh so many human conditions on what God thinks is enough! But my Bible says that if I hold onto Him, if I simply use my prayer time and bible reading time to get to know Him, if I call to Him and if I trust Him. Then He will respond. He will rescue you out of trouble, He will give you the best of care, He will be at your side in bad times, He will throw you a party! He will give you a long life and a long drink of salvation.
God loves to give to those who simply turn their hearts towards Him, with all of our faults, in our human weakness, it’s not the perfect Christian that He desires. It’s just you! YOU ARE ENOUGH for Him to throw you a party! So as you meditate on this verse today, imagine yourself getting that party dress on and start celebrating!

The feeling of inadequacy at times feels like it will never go away, whether you are a successful business person, a brilliant parent, winning awards, or just in the routine of life, it feels permanent. But we are not people of the world, we are people of the Word and there are some truths that we can stand on to ensure that we know that we are enough for Him.
