Forgive, Grow And Find God's Path for Youنموونە

Listen, Fear and Follow
Just before Israel was to enter the promised land, and at the end of his own life, Moses told the people to make sure they listened and feared the Lord, and followed God’s words (see Deuteronomy 31:12). The children, who didn’t know the law, were to be taught these truths as long as the people were in the new land (see Deuteronomy 31:13).
When we enter a new phase of life — dating, marriage, parenting, a new job — it is natural for us to lose track of our responsibilities in our excitement over the new. New relationships and opportunities are exhilarating. Imagine how the Israelites must have felt after 40 years of wandering to look over the river at their new home.
However, the start of something new is the time to remember God’s ways, paths and laws for our success and survival (see Deuteronomy 6:20 – 25). They will keep us making the right choices and lead us toward the right life. It is the best time to listen, fear and follow.
