God is our Abba Father Jesus gave us all his authority (Luke 10:19), glory (John 17:22), and power of the Holy Spirit in us. In order to exercise this authority and power to share a powerful gospel to heal the sick and touch life, we need to know that our Abba Father is the creator of the heavens and the earth. He never lies. His promises never fail. If you were the son of the richest man in the world, and he told you to go and buy a building, you would not doubt that you could carry out his wish. If this richest man’s word has such an authority, why would we not believe our Abba Father, His Word has ultimate authority. Jesus knows His father, He said “Abba Father, everything is possible in you.” This is our Abba Father. Prayer: Father Lord, forgive us our lack of faith in you. Forgive our thoughts and experiences which limit your almighty power. Abba Father, Thank you for loving us so much, and sending your only son Jesus to die for us. Thank you for choosing us to be your children and giving us your authority and power, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
