God, forgive our nation. We have glorified men and women who do not honor You. We seek power at the expense of the poor and oppressed. Our justice is perverted, our courts corrupt. Fear has taken root. Bring Your Spirit, Lord. Transform hearts, as only You can, for we are helpless without You. We confess our failures, God. Show us the path of redemption.
