God Has Feelings Too!نموونە

Live like Him
The Bible states that God feels joy, patience, sadness, jealousy, and even anger toward sin. His emotions, unlike ours, however, are never sinful. He is a just and righteous God who desires that His children become more and more like Him.
God is jealous when our hearts choose to love something more than we love God. He knows that if we love Him more than anything else, then the result is true joy and peace. When we are jealous, it’s normally because someone has something we want! That is called sinful jealousy.
God is angry when we choose sin over obedience to Him. He loves us just as we are, but He hates our sin. Why? Because He knows sin will hurt us. Sin also breaks our fellowship with God.
God, however, is patient with us when we choose sin. He even allows us to experience the consequences of our sin or bad behavior, just as a parent would respond to a child who behaves badly. And, likewise, we are not patient when a family member or friend does something wrong toward us.
God wants us to turn from our sinful choices so we can live in fellowship with Him. When we repent, God is patient and grants us undeserved love and forgiveness. God is always a God of second chances!
When we show the characteristics of God by forgiving others when we are jealous, letting go of anger, and showing patience, our God is pleased. He desires that we become more and more like Him.
Take a moment to pray. Ask God to help you control your emotions.
