A question that I often ask myself is: “If I am being completely honest, how genuine is my walk?”. I think a lot of us put on a good front at church or in our small group, but behind closed doors does Jesus really have first place in our lives? When Jesus says many people will not be able to enter through the narrow gate, I want to evaluate how I am living. Do my daily actions reflect that I am a true follower? Does my bank account? Does my calendar? Am I hanging out with people that help me stay on the path to righteousness or do I put myself in situations where it is really hard to walk the Christian life? We won’t be saved by our works, only by our faith, but our works will prove that our faith is real.
Are you willing to accept that faith without works is useless?
