Mint Chip: A Rested Bodyنموونە

Devotional Content:
Jesus used great phrases and imagery to portray the significance of his messages. The simile of an “eye” as a “lamp” to the body makes it easy to grasp his teaching, ensuring for all who listen to understand that what we use our eyes for has repercussions on the rest of our body. If we fill ourselves with the things of fear, urgency and that which is unholy then it can be expected that the body will eventually feel the result.
Prayer:
“Thank you Jesus that though I do not know what my tomorrow will bring, nor how life will play out, I can focus on you in my present. My today is important to you and I desire to live with a kingdom mindset - where my whole being flourishing within the rest you have enabled for me. Amen”
