True Worshippers

The Samaritan woman at the well was comparing the Samaritan's method of worship with that of the Jews. But Jesus explained that the worship of God is not based on location but God can be worshipped anywhere as He is spirit. And therefore God needs to be worshipped in spirit and in truth - from the heart and not just through rituals but in a true understanding of God, which is obtained through His Word, the Bible.



Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your Word which gives us an understanding of who you are and how to worship you. Let us always worship you in spirit, genuinely from our hearts and let us be worshipers who are able and willing to worship you at all times and at all places. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
