Devotional: YOUR JOURNEY
1 Samuel chapter 7 tells us of a challenging journey that Samuel took along with the Israelites. However, mid-journey, he placed a stone at a particular spot and called it Ebenezer, which means ‘stone of help,’ and he acknowledged God’s hand in bringing him to that place using these exact words: “Thus far the Lord has helped us.”
Today, take time to pause and reflect on your journey in the past year and your life so far. Can you look intently and recognize that you’ve not made it to this moment without God’s help and acknowledge that fact by thanking Him for being your journey partner? For seeing you through thick and thin to this very moment in time?
Journaling Prompt: ROCK
Today’s prompt is a rock, and as you portray a rock in your journal today (your very own Ebenezer) using your imagination and creativity, thank God for helping you on your unique life’s journey thus far.
