Devotional: GOD’S PRESENCE

God assured a troubled Moses, who was unsure of his ability to lead God’s people through the wilderness, with these words, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” 

God’s Presence, though not always tangible, is constant and comforting. His gentle Spirit is eternal with us, speaking and listening to us, should we choose to commune with Him. 

Looking back at this year, you might recount several instances when God’s gentle, sweet Presence has been with you in difficult moments. Think about those moments and thank the Holy Spirit for being with you and being the Comforter and Friend that you needed at that time. 

Journaling Prompt: DOVE

The Spirit of God is often depicted by a gentle dove. Let’s use this as a prompt for journaling today.

Get your art supplies and journal out, and as you creatively express yourself, don’t forget to talk to the Holy Spirit and thank Him for His Presence in your life.
