Let's Go Over to the Other Sideنموونە

In the middle of the storm, the disciples had the presence of Jesus with them in their boat. When he told the disciples to travel to the other side of the lake, he didn’t send them without joining them. He was with them on their journey, and he was with them through the storm. In the same way, Jesus is with us as we navigate the storms in our lives, communities, and churches. When we feel like we are drowning under the weight of the waves, we can hold onto the truth that Jesus is in the boat with us as we face every toss and turn. While we can hold onto his presence with us, we can also experience a sense of progression, because Jesus is taking us forward. He has a plan and a purpose for our lives, even when we feel like we are stuck or de-railed. Although the storms of change feel strong and may feel endless, God never changes and he has gifted us his Holy Spirit as our constant companion.
