Eternal Life Defined The prayer of Jesus explains with clarity the divine truth of eternal life revealed to His listeners and readers. Since the scriptures tell us that God has "placed eternity into our hearts," then it is natural for man to have a place in their psyche for an afterlife. Jesus clearly stated that to know God, his Father and Him, as His Son is eternal life. This idea is not something that will happen in the hereafter but now. How do you get to know someone? The first step is spend time with Him and seek to know Him. Prayer: Lord, thank you that you invite me to a relationship with you. Help me to experience your eternal life and to make time to grow in my relationship with you. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
