As we prepare for the future, we must hold onto hope.  Hope is found in the anchoring nature of Jesus and no other.  What would it look like for us to live in an anchored place, where we aren’t pushed around by surrounding circumstances or internal chaos?  We can walk through unsettling and challenging storms that strip us of our resolve, courage, positivity, or confidence.  We must learn to hope in Jesus no matter what comes our way.  His faithfulness enables us to remain. We need the right anchors in order to weather the storms.  God continually provided for the Israelites with sustenance, provision, and promise. If God starts something, He finishes it. God is a promise keeping God.

Where have you previously been dependent on someone or something other than Jesus?  

Have you ever felt as though God hasn’t delivered on a promise? Could it be that He is working to bring something to a place of completion or operating on a different timeline than you imagined?
