Year of Yesنموونە

We are all on a spiritual pilgrimage of sorts, a journey of highs and lows in the process of discovering faith and truth.
Simon, the man who was called upon to carry Jesus’s cross by the Romans, would have been on a pilgrimage of his own to celebrate the Passover from a distant land. Through his literal experience of carrying Jesus’s cross, we see that it would have been inconvenient, involuntary, disqualifying, even embarrassing in public view.
Following Jesus can look a lot of different ways, but it is certainly costly, even painful at times.
QUESTIONS
Can you relate to Simon’s experience within your own life of following Jesus?
When has obedience felt inconvenient or embarrassing?
