Walking With Jesus نموونە

Jesus goes back to the guys and they are sleeping AGAIN! If I were Jesus I would be so frustrated. I asked you to watch and pray for 1 hour and you can't even do that. 

It's interesting to me that Jesus asked them to watch and pray so they would not fall into temptation. This was especially sad because Peter did indeed fall into temptation later that night and ultimately denied Jesus 3 times. Jesus knew He needed the strength of His Father to fulfill the mission He had given Him. 

Hebrews talks about how Jesus is the Author of our faith. He is the perfect example of how we are to live. Jesus is our perfect example of what it means to be Christlike and live in holiness. Three times Jesus went back and prayed. If Jesus' first response was prayer, why is our response so often not? How can we shift our heart posture to always revert to prayer?

Pray. Thank God for always being there, for sending His Son and making relationship available to us.
