Sometimes, it can feel hard to follow Jesus’ example. He was, in fact, perfect. He healed sick people. He spent time with hurting people. He literally died for others. The good news is the key to knowing that we are fulfilling the life God wants for us is not about checking off a list of boxes that would make us reach “Jesus status.” The key to fulfilling God’s plan for us is to live from a place of love, no matter what, toward everyone. When we genuinely love everyone, we can be certain that we are living our lives the way God called us to live, lives that love and serve others by putting them first. Is there someone in your life who you know could use some extra love? As you move through life this week, look for ways you can live in the way Jesus did by showing love to others.
