The Sea of Galilee: Obey regardless of obstacles.

“Simon replied, ‘we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing. But if you say so, I’ll let the nets down again’” (Luke 5:5 NLT, emphasis added).

Reflection

• Reflect on a time when Jesus asked you to do something. Did you obey? If you didn’t obey, what were the obstacles to your obedience? If you did obey, what were some obstacles you faced?
• No matter which way you answered, did you learn anything through this process, and would you obey next time?

Prayer

Jesus, help me to be obedient no matter what obstacles I see in front of me. Please help me see obstacles through your eyes and rely on you as I walk in obedience.
