God is still working in your life! Even though you may feel as though you’ve been stuck in this season, in God’s sovereignty and wisdom, He takes what was meant for evil and turns it around for His divine best in us.
Joseph felt stuck for a long time! Thirteen years passed between the time he was taken from his home—11 years spent in the service of Egyptian royalty and 2 years spent in prison—until we see reconciliation and redemption.
We may feel that we’ve been stuck for so long, not knowing when circumstances will change. “God plays the long game”, but is not a bringer of devastation or tragedy. He has a plan and purpose for us and is working across time and history to redeem humanity. In the waiting, God is still working. God’s promise to Joseph purged his character until it was time for his dreams to come true (Psalm 105:17-19 TPT). Wait on God.
