Who Is God?نموونە

God is our Father
God is not just called "Father" in relationship with the Son and the Holy Spirit. We humans may address him as "Our Father in heaven". Jesus himself told us so in Matthew 6. And in the Old Testament, long before Jesus came to this earth, Isaiah addressed God as "our Father, our Redeemer from of old".
This is a very intimate title. In the Bible, God is depicted as a trustworthy Father who cares for his creation, his beloved "children". He also teaches his children and disciplines them when necessary. Just like earthly fathers should do if they seek the best for their kids.
Due to our sin, we humans are separated from our Father. But through Jesus there is a way back: "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6). We are invited back into God's "family". Do you want to live under the Father's care and direction?
