Heavenly Father,

I pray for my sisters who have strained relationships with a parent. In cases of childhood abuse or neglect, I ask that they can forgive. In cases of strife, I pray for wisdom in the words they speak and peace as decisions about relationships are made. I pray for healing those broken relationships, even when they’re thought irreparable. I pray that if the hardness lies within the parent that you give the child peace and the ability to forgive and move forward. I pray for long-ago hurts to be healed and for patterns to not be repeated with their own children.
