The Real Power of Jesus | Read

Jesus came to this earth to set us free from the influence of every evil power. It’s never an arm wrestle with Jesus, He speaks and the evil spirits obey instantly. In Jesus, there is freedom and deliverance from whatever brings darkness into your world. The only thing that prevents Him from transforming our lives, is when we prefer to be left alone.

Jesus is all about rescuing the powerless and the weak: as long as we are willing to let Him renovate our hearts and minds. Freedom is found when we learn to trust that He knows what is best for us. Change can be uncomfortable, but we can find deep joy and lasting hope when we surrender to his leadership.

Finding Freedom in Jesus | Pray

If you have a part of your life where you have experienced the power of evil, then it’s really important to talk to God about it. There is nothing to fear when we are close to Jesus and His authority. If there are things you know that have opened your life up to the powers of darkness, then be honest about that with God. Put it behind you by giving it over to God.

There is freedom in the name of Jesus. Declare His name over your life and over your relationships. If you experience some spiritual pushback on this journey to discovering Jesus, then mention it to your leader. We’d love to pray with you and support you as Jesus brings deliverance and wholeness to your life.
