Meditate on this picture and this verse today:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
This verse is special. Because in it we can see the essence of Jesus' character and who He is: "I am gentle and humble in heart." We know this to be true because it is directly from the mouth of Jesus! Meditate on the awesomeness of that today.
"...gentle and humble in heart..."
Surely this is a God who can be trusted with your worries? Surely this is a God who loves you? Surely this is a God worth of our praise?
"...and you will find rest for your souls."
"...For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
