Introduction

The Philosopher discusses facing life and death in a realistic way. While life is meant to be enjoyed, people are not to ignore the reality of death. Today’s reading upholds the value of wisdom (verses 11, 12, 19) and admonishes us to have reverence for God (verse 18).
