3. Record some of Abraham’s great triumphs of faith and missteps of faith. How do these give you encouragement in your own faith journey?
4. What are you waiting on God to do for you? How can you exercise faith in His promises even if you do not see Him working?
5. How have you seen God’s faithfulness and loving kindness in your life? In what ways has God overwhelmed you with His goodness the way He overwhelmed Abraham’s servant?

When we waiver in our understanding of what God asks of us, we can study the lives of God’s people and look to their examples. This study shows the lives of Abram and Isaac. God gave them both a great promise, but they had moments when their actions did not align with their faith. God credited Abraham as righteous long before He required anything but faith from him.
