Durable Faithنموونە

Do you have faith?
Welcome to the Durable Faith Bible Plan.
You’re going to spend the next four days learning about faith. More specifically, you’re going to come away from this Bible Plan with an understanding of how to have a strong faith that lasts.
Since you’re reading this Bible Plan, there’s a good chance that you already believe in God. That’s the kind of faith this Bible Plan will talk about.
There’s also a chance that you’re not sure if you have faith in God yet. Is this Bible Plan for you if you still have questions or aren’t sure about all this? Oh, yes. Definitely.
In fact, why don’t you begin with a basic question so many struggle with when it comes to faith: How do you know God is real if you’ve never seen Him?
Watch this video from Josh, friend of The Loop Show for a great answer.
Did you catch that one thing Josh said? He said, “The effects God has on our lives prove to us that He is very real. You don’t have to give God a handshake to know that He’s real.”
Have you ever felt love, joy, or even just a good ol’ dose of patience? You can’t touch any of those, yet you know they’re real. In fact, they’re the evidence of God at work.
For the rest of this Bible Plan, you’ll spend time learning from Hebrews 3:14. You can have a faith that lasts your whole life, just as firmly as the day you first believed. If you aren’t sure if you believe, then this Bible Plan is a safe place for you to learn more about what having faith in God is like. And maybe you’ll become ready to believe as you read!
Ask yourself: What keeps some people (maybe it’s me) from believing in God? How can I begin to see God at work in my everyday life?
Challenge yourself: Grab some paper and something to write with. Jot down as many things as you can think of that can’t necessarily be experienced with your five senses, but that are still very real. Some ideas: humor, peace, honor, wonder, curiosity, God’s presence, etc. Go back through your list and circle the ones that point to God at work in humanity. Hint: Today’s reading from Galatians will give you some great ideas!
Pray: God, thank You for making Yourself known through so many ways. Help me to see You more and more. Help me to have a life-long faith that grows stronger each day. Help me to find someone to talk to who has strong faith in You whenever I’m struggling with my own faith. In Jesus’ name, amen.
