Pregnancy Prayer — Peace

Ever-Present One,

You are our Daddy. No one can ever replace You, not even our earthly fathers or mothers. You hold us in the palm of Your hand each night when we sleep. You are always there for us and You promise us a peace that surpasses all understanding if we give our hearts to You and follow You. There is peace at Your Table, and we cannot wait to feast at the Table of the Lord where we will never hunger or thirst again. You are preparing a special room for each us in Your Father’s house and what a glorious day that will be to enter into Your gates and look upon Your heavenly face!

Giver of Peace, You hear each prayer that we pray, and in Revelation it says that our prayers are placed in golden bowls before Your throne and they are like sweet-smelling incense to You. We can come just as we are, broken and sinful, and You will wash us white as snow and give us a peace that only You can provide.

Please, allow my baby to feel Your Love and Peace upon him or her each day. Let my child run to You when he or she is scared, lonely, or worried. Let my child not find peace in anything from this world, in any form of idolatry, in any person, in food, in materialism, or in any other religion, but only in Your loving arms. You say that grace and peace is ours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus, our Lord. Please, give my child knowledge of You, Holy God, and let my child seek You with all of his or her heart, soul, mind, and strength. We look forward to our refuge and our inheritance when we see You someday soon, face to face. What a glorious day that will be! Come, Lord Jesus, come!
