The gift of Christmas is not unknown to us because God gave us the gift of knowing Him. He is the answer! 

Before the world was created, there was God the Father, God the Son  (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. Together, they made the earth and everything in it. They also made the first man and woman named Adam and Eve. They were in great fellowship with God's creation. Later, they sinned against God by eating the forbidden fruit. They deserved punishment for their sin, the same as you and I deserve punishment for our sins. The penalty for sin is death, but Jesus came to accept our punishment. He was beaten, nailed on a cross, died, and buried. Three days later, Christ rose from the dead. He defeated death. Why did he do that? Because he loves us so much that he was willing to take the punishment for you and me. That is a gift known to us. How can we receive that gift?  Simply call on the name of the Lord, and you will be saved.
