Psalms of Praise and the Wordنموونە

Dripping with God’s Blessing
Have you ever wondered if there’s a way you can secure the release of God’s blessing over your life? If so, Psalm 133 provides at least one answer. When brothers and sisters in Christ live together in sweet unity, then God releases his blessing. This blessing is like the anointing oil that dripped from the top of Aaron’s head to the hem of his robes. It’s like the dew that drips from the heavens and brings refreshment to the slopes of Mount Hermon.
If we want to receive the blessing of God, we could start by committing ourselves to sweet unity with other believers. Disunity and division drive God’s blessings away. But when unity is restored, the anointing is released and drips from heaven onto our heads until we are covered in its fragrance.
The next time you are up at night, bring your expressions of affection to God as a loving priest. What might you say?
