The Road Less Traveled - a Lent Journey for Teensنموونە

Prayer
This week’s theme was purity and how you can live with a pure heart.
First, we need to find out where our hearts are. We find our hearts by finding the desires of our hearts. We need to identify the unhealthy desires of our hearts and allow God to be above them. When God is the desire of our hearts, He overcomes all other desires. Then we can hold fast to the promise that says the pure in heart will see Him.
Reflect by answering these questions:
- Ask the Holy Spirit to remind you of this week’s experiences.
- Reread Matt 5:8 and look at the notes you made.
- Speak to Jesus about what you experience.
- Where did you experience God’s presence?
- How are you invited to be pure of heart?

Lent is where we walk with Jesus for 40 days. We are going to look at the Beatitudes of Jesus. These are sayings from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. We live in a world filled with uncertainty, fear and anxiety. The beatitudes invite us to live in a new way in this world of ours. Together, we are going to explore new ways to live life.
