Coping With Pain And Adversityنموونە

My Response to Adversity - God Is in Charge and Not Me
Understanding that God is sovereign, when you find yourself in the epicenter of adversity and when your faith is tested, what you are made of is tested! Job chose to worship God when tragedy barged in uninvited. A very normal and human reaction is bitterness and maybe anger at the unfairness of life.
On the contrary, the lesser known reaction is to declare God's sovereignty when we find ourself in the miry pit of disaster. It's easy to praise him with catchy worship tunes and with high sounding Christian jargon, but I think God finds greatest pleasure in hearing our worship when we are our most broken and depleted.
