Esther, Born for Such a Time as Thisنموونە

Mordecai took over caring for Esther, also called Hadassah, after her parents passed away. When we read on in the book of Esther, we discover that he is an honorable, caring man, loyal to the God of his people and to the king who is currently in power. He was trustworthy, a good man who provided for Esther and was involved in her life. Even when she was called into the king’s palace, he went to see how she was doing every single day! He was a gift sent from heaven for Esther. She trusted him, and she followed his advice without questioning him.
Just as Mordecai took care of Esther, the Holy Spirit cares for us. He is involved in our lives daily. Jesus says: "I will never leave you. I’ll take care of you every day. Even though I am not physically with you on earth, I will care for you through the Holy Spirit." We can trust Him in everything and follow Him without questioning. It is so simple! Everything we need we can find in Jesus, in His word. He is always there. Trust in Him; He takes care of you!
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You. Thank You for Your word, in which I find so much wisdom and stories of very ordinary people like Esther and Mordecai, who followed You in all things. They are examples for me; help me to follow their lead and to walk every day with You. Amen.

In this plan, we will take you through the book of Esther. We can admire Esther's courage, but we should see the whole picture: Esther, too, needed to be reminded of Who rules and that her life is in His hand. We pray that Esther's story inspires you to see God's hand in your life. God has intentionally placed you where you are for such a time as this.
