When you trust Jesus, you become closely connected with Him. You may be wondering, “What exactly does this connection to Christ mean?” The biblical authors refer to this connection as being “in Christ.” God no longer sees you separated from Him by the barrier of sin, but rather, He sees you through His beloved Son, Jesus. God forgives your sins, and you become a new type of human who is now reunited and inseparable from God because you and Christ are one.
