Pearls of Grace: 12 Pearls + 12 Prayersنموونە

Providence: Our holy, loving, all-powerful, sovereign, and most merciful God orchestrates all things according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace. His timing is perfect. The Heidelberg Catechism puts it this way: God's providence is his almighty and ever-present power, whereby, as with his hand, he still upholds heaven and earth and all creatures, and so governs them that leaf and blade, rain and drought, fruitful and barren years, food and drink, health and sickness, riches and poverty, indeed, all things, come to us not by chance but by his fatherly hand.
God of power and might, wisdom and love, mercy, and justice, you rule over all things, even in the most minute details of life. You even rule and reign over men's and women's hearts. You know the number of hairs on my head at any given time. Creator and ruler of heaven and earth, Redeemer of all, you are worthy of all of my worship and all of my praise at all times. Help transform my worry into worship. Help me live in light of your providence and not cower in the darkness of human reasoning. Grant me the grace to walk in a manner worthy of the gospel for your glory, honor, and praise.
