The Genealogy of Jesusنموونە

Today we start with a simple faith definition: Faith is choosing to live as though God's Word is true regardless of your circumstances, emotions, and cultural trends. Enoch's name means "dedicated" or "experienced." From our reading today, we see that Enoch was Noah's great grandfather and Adam's great, great, great, great-grandson! Enoch also fathered Methuselah.
Enoch lived a holy and faithful life to the Lord for 365 years! Enoch lived a life that honored his Creator above all else. Enoch walked with God so closely that Genesis tells us, "Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him" (Genesis 5:24).
In your life, will you be known for your great faith? What are some things you can do today to live by faith?
Prayer: List out all of the ways God has been faithful in your life to bring you to this moment.
