Advent - the Gift Devotionalنموونە

“Worship like the angels”
And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased.” (Luke 2:13-14)
What comes to mind when I say “Christmas”? For me, it’s fruitcake. But we also think of stables, troughs, animals, wise men, shepherds... and angels! If you read the Gospel accounts of Christmas, you discover that all of a sudden, there was an explosion of angels. Angels were popping up everywhere, all around the Christmas story.
When Christ was born, there was a multitude of angels singing before shepherds and sheep in a field. And what did they sing? “Glory to God in the highest!” Even the angels were singing to worship this baby.
When you worship, you’ll be amazed how peace comes into your life. Whatever your problems, whatever your difficulty, worship makes everything about God. It’s about praise and adoration and listening and reading and studying and knowing that God is there when we worship Him! When that takes place in your life, you’ll be amazed how peace will break out all around you. Will you worship like the angels?
