What Is God's Kingdom Like?نموونە

The Lord God is King
For the Lord is a great God,
and a great King above all gods. (Psalm 95:3)
Let’s start this reading plan with a basic truth. God is our King. If you are familiar with the Bible, this may sound obvious, but if you take a moment to think about it, it’s actually a great, comforting fact!
Every nation and people group on earth has its own leaders. Since these leaders are in a position of power, they have a lot of influence on the well-being of their citizens. As Proverbs 29:4 (in the Easy Read Version) has it,
A nation will be strong when it has a fair and just king. A nation will be weak when it has a king who is selfish and demands gifts.
Psalm 95 says that God is “a great King above all gods.” He is the supreme Ruler of the universe and a perfect King! In Deuteronomy 32:4, Moses sings:
All His ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is He.
How different would this world be if an unjust, evil god ruled it!
Over the coming days, we’ll read more verses about God’s Kingdom that is unfolding and growing. Will you read with us?

Jesus invites people into the kingdom of God. This is not an actual physical place. It transcends time and space, which makes it difficult to see what God’s Kingdom exactly is. Let’s read a collection of Bible passages to learn what God’s Kingdom is and how you can inherit it.
