You have to watch in order to make sure nothing happens to the thing you’re protecting. In the same way you guard and protect things in your life, God calls us to guard and protect our words. We have to pay attention to what comes out of our mouths and guard the words we say to make sure they’re the kinds of words that build up rather than tear down. And wisdom will help us do just that!
