No Longer Walk in Sexual Sin

Let’s jump in and see how Paul calls the Ephesian believers to leave the sexual sin that kept them stuck in their old life.

Reflection Questions:

• Put yourself in the Ephesians’ position; you are a follower of Christ in bondage to sexual sin. What parts of Paul’s message are hopeful? What parts are challenging? Why?
• What is sobering about the escalating nature of sexual sin (“greedy to practice every kind of impurity”)? How do we see its effects in the world today?
• Paul ends with, “the truth is in Jesus” (Eph. 4:21). How can sexual sin and the shame that results disorient us from the truth?
