Life’s Faith Journey
Have you ever met someone who you thought had great faith? You might think, “Wow, I wish I could be like them!” Well, you can be. And you will get there the same way they did: one step at a time. Everyone wrestles with living by faith at some point, but 1 Thessalonians 5:24 reminds us that it’s not about us - it’s about God. He is faithful and able to do what He has promised. Pastor Crawford Loritts gives us some great insight into the faith journey of Abraham*, a leader from the Old Testament.

Think of people you know with great faith and ask them to share a verse or two that helps them stay focused on God’s promises. Then read Hebrews 10:22-24. Take a moment to commit verse 23 to memory. The next time you are struggling to believe God and walk by faith, you’ll be able to recall it!
