CHANGED! And Changing Still..نموونە

Discipleship Equals Change
Key Thought
To be a Christ follower is to become like Christ. We follow after Him. We become like Him. We walk in His steps, as it were. We make every effort to reflect His way of doing things, His way of saying things. We become like Him. A disciple. A follower. And this means change.
There were bracelets in the 90's that were a very popular reminder to stay the path and live a life like Jesus. WWJD stood for “What Would Jesus Do?”
The idea was that anytime you were conflicted in a situation, your bracelet would remind you to ask “what would Jesus do right now? What would He say in this situation?” It showed the areas we needed to change. We mostly needed to change because we were nothing like Him. Following Jesus now for over 30 years, there are still many times I need to ask myself: what would Jesus do? Jesus made it pretty clear why we are here on earth. We are meant to bring out the God-flavours and God-colours to people everywhere around us. It is impossible to act for God and on His behalf if we do not change and become like Him.
Time To Think
Do I live a life like Jesus?
What areas do I mostly need help with WWJD?
Prayer
Jesus, You lived a public life on earth and showed people how to live a life that pleases God, the Father. Help me to see the life You lived as I read through the bible. Help me to walk in Your ways and speak with Your words. Help me in my daily change to live as a disciple. Amen.
